A.V. Geiger is an epidemiologist and author of young adult books. Her academic interests include women’s psychiatric and reproductive health, as well as the unequal impact of COVID-19 on communities in the US. By day, she works with health data at a major university research center.

By night, she writes scary stories for teenagers about her non-academic interests: Social media, it’s power to connect us… and it’s terrifying unintended consequences.
A.V. made her debut as a traditionally published author with Follow Me Back (2017), “a page-turner for young adults invested in social media, fandoms, and mysteries” according to School Library Journal. This Twitter-based teen thriller came out to international acclaim and went on to be published in 15 languages. Sequel Tell Me No Lies soon followed, and A.V.’s third novel Scared Little Rabbits hit bookstores in 2019.
